Tell that one to the vrtx/telaprevir crowd.

I dont know anything about VRTX so I cannot offer anything up there.

Just my general observation that great data in Phase 2 often leads to nothing more than a failure in Phase 3 (even when the P2 is randomized).

Development stage Biotech in general is nothing more than a gamble. It's not like you can access how many widgets are being sold...you have to rely on the trial and if/how the patients response... and, you never know WTF youre going to get.
