Cancer cells are hard to bind to or invade because tumors have a greater interstitial pressure than other surrounding tissues. Energy flows down hill; hence, flow is spontaneous from higher pressures to lower pressures. It is very hard to find the right molecule/signaling to bind to or invade a tumor. The use of NLS, or a nuclear localization signal, has showed promising results as a 'tag' on the surface of a drug or molecule to target a cell's nucleus via its nuclear pore....blah blah

Basically there are thousands of drugs that can kill cancer and solve all the world's problems....however, its the drug delivery and the route of administration that is near impossible to efficiently and effectively achieve. We are, however, making great strides, hence the reason of my investments in MMRF and other companies.
