Our posts on generic Effexor crossed! Teva’s PR, which you quoted, slightly overstates the US sales of Effexor XR, but it understates the economic relevance of this launch by stating that Teva is entitled to (only) 180 days of generic exclusivity under Hatch-Waxman. As noted in #msg-51800344, Teva’s likely period of generic exclusivity is at least eleven months and perhaps even longer.
