so sorry you were not around in 1939 to understand global politics

you see, in 1939 the USA was about 39th in military might

GB thought it was #1 (wrong)

France thought it was #2 (wrong)

Germany knew is was #1 (right)

and 50m died including 500k americans

since then it has been the policy of the USA that every one knows (not one ever misunderstands) that the USA is #1 (and in spades)

the only real estate we have ever requested was that necessary to bury those who kept you free
