new diagnostic technology that makes MRI obsolete
competing products from well-heeled device manufacturers

but most of all the many things we aren't thinking of.

I like the mgmt team, the advisory board, and the many different product lines they are pursuing. They will have an agreement with BSX, but when and for what products? What will BSX want exclusivity on, and what did Biophan have to give up for the honor? I think one reason the negotiations are dragging along is that BSX wants exclusivity and Biophan wants "industry standard", which to me means having their solutions on everybody's medical devices and such. Could be a big sticking point.

We might see the first deals announced that do not include BSX, and for smaller fees or royalties than might be expected, but I believe we will see something soon, perhaps the contrast agents.
