And that's a great point to remember. We're quick to throw out that Racing Dreams was a failure in the box office. No point in arguing that. However, there are significant catalysts out there to really drive it in the DVD market. Racing Dreams may just be the gift that keeps on giving. It's got a several year shelf life from my perspective. Look at the profit generated from one film alone last year in addition to their existing legacy library. Racing Dreams as an addition to the existing library will be a revenue generator for years and years to come. Here's my take on why:

1. Possible Oscar nomination (don't hang your hat on this - but
definitely possible. If so, it sells itself massively)

2. Nascar will likely give it a push in the DVD market with
cross-promotion at races and events. Will be a huge stocking
stuffer for Christmas.

3. Stephen Spielberg bought the rights to the fictional story,
which if the fictional movie has any success, will drive folks
to see the original film it was based on.

4. Google & Youtube VOD. We haven't seen how this translates into revenues, but we know for sure that Hannover has something already signed for Google & Youtube VOD as well as working additional ways to distribute films such as this via VOD.

I'm no professional, but all this - and I'm sure much more - translates into Racing Dreams being a recurring revenue stream for many, many years. So is it a success or failure? Way too soon to tell.
