This was the second email I sent to Ike that lead to our meeting in NY.

Mr. Ike Sutton

Today I am writing you with what I think will be a huge market for the GO800 text to speak system. As a stock holder I have been thinking for uses of the system, one idea constantly comes to mind. “Fundraising” When a company or organization is trying to raise money for a cause they don’t want to loose that donator because they find it inconvenient to donate. Long phone numbers that can not be easily remembered hamper the ability to collect funds. That is why I think a simple key word would be so helpful to this endeavor. While I have thought of a few charities that I feel would benefit from this (MD Telethon which I emailed you about previously) I think I have thought of a way it can be used that will utilize both the national level and also every individual area code over the entire United States several fold. I feel there are millions of dollars worth of clients fees in this area.

My Idea is for political campaign donations. You would need national level keywords for the DNC (Democratic National Committee) and the RNC (Republican National Committee) and all Presidential Candidates. I could even see major political power brokers such as David Axelrod having his own keyword to keep him in instant contact with specific high level donors. Also looking at individual candidates such as Governors and Senators races where they would need all area codes in there perspective state. Congressmen’s races would utilize every area code in the US with overlap in many area codes. We already see some politicians starting basic fund raising for the next presidential race. Mitt Romney comes to mind along with others. Starting immediately until November there will be a huge battle between the Democrats and Republicans that could lead to monumental potential for GO800.

An example that I am familiar with is Pennsylvania. It has 2 senators and a governor that would need all 11 area codes for PA. We have 19 congressmen. As there are only 11 area codes in PA this means that numerous congressmen’s districts overlap the same area code meaning double sales of these area codes. Nationwide we have 435 congressmen with multiple area codes each plus overlap. 2 senators and a governor with all of there state area codes. For elections you can double these and in primarie elections even quadruple these numbers. This doesn’t even take into account many state and local politicians that may be interested in purchasing key words. I can see this approach to marketing, if done aggressively bringing in potentially millions of dollars a year. Another thing that makes this use especially attractive to political use, is that a sitting congressmen or senator have free mail privileges. This makes advertising the new system very cheap for them through direct mailings and political advertisements.

There are two ways that we could approach soliciting clients for political use of GO800. Start at the smaller level through the use of ambassadors soliciting Senators and Congressmen’s aids and beat the bushes working our way up. Or make one high level sale contact and let the whole system fall into place from top down. Of course starting at the top is the easiest and once high level individuals are sold on Go800 they would recommend it down the line to more localized races. If some connection could be made at the national level I believe the DNC and RNC would recommend to there members running for office at all levels to get GO800 to facilitate fundraising. This could be used for every politician trying to raise funds down to the individual area code of city council and mayors in some bigger cities.

This would be a constantly changing market that really needs someone to monitor it on a continues basis. During primary election season we would need to monitor everyone running for office and make calls to solicit for GO800 service. During primaries there could be as many as 4 to 6 people running for each seat, all of which would be potential customers. The political season is currently upon us and the sooner we solicit and gain this market the sooner we can realize these profits to the company.

On April 20th I will be in NYC for a morning appointment at a foreign consulate for a visa interview. If possible I would like to come to your office to speak to you about the marketing possibilities.

Sincerely
