Maybe the equity financing was dependent on the purchase going through. At the time he said the share count was 10,000,000 the deal had not been finalized.

I don't have any problem with how this turned out. When your making announcements like this, it's tough to schedule everything so everyone is happy. I'm sure he was pissed that the jump to 16,000,000 shares came out before it was supposed to.

The end results is raised guidance for earnings per share and the chance of moving to the AMEX sooner. Nothing wrong with that.
