My fear with these restricted stocks is not that they need to be held long without trading (mind you 6 months isn't that "long"), but because the date in which they become free trading will be the same for all those who hold them. There is nothing preventing a "dump" and in fact dive in PPS the day these stocks become unrestricted. Could be a free-for-all in fact... as an investor, I don't like this notion.
