First of all thanks for the toasts, but what a bunch of lushes!

Macblast's post has provided some much needed perspective as to what is actually involved in testing, deciding upon, implementing and marketing Go800 services for companies mid-sized on up.

Some on this board have cast aspersions upon the sales skills of the Ambassadors as well as the business/marketing acumen of Ike.

Those individuals should take note of the time frame and the process that Macblast described his company as following. Think it'll go more quickly for Geico, Sportmart, Alaska Air, Marines or PetSmart?

To Ike's credit the Brand By Area Code Program, alluded to by Macblast and described below, was put together by Ike within 2 days after I communicated the need for a discounted hybrid brand/generic/area code pricing plan, which had arisen in my discussions with Macblast. That's called flexibility, responsiveness and marketing smarts. By Ike too!

Brands can advertise a single Voice Keyword™ and have their calls routed to a different telephone number for each area code (282 area codes in the USA). Great for directing sales or customer service inquiries directly to the local number. Makes connecting with the company faster and easier for the caller.
