It’s says this when I look it up on Ameritrade’s web site
Maintenance requirements provide guidelines for the amount of equity needed in an account in order to hold margin positions. In general, to hold marginable securities you must maintain at least 30% equity.
So let’s say I have 500k shares of ATNP = $300 at today’s price does that mean I need to have $300 cash sitting in the account to cover just trying to put a picture to this maint. Requirement
