Stated in Covidien's webcast today, We're looking at "smaller companies that don't have the capital ability to expand on their own..." ...we will "use acquired technology (in lieu) of R&D" dollars.

This quite does fit the assumptions being made about POSC/COV - but Crammer you are correct - I have not found any prior work publicized that fits a partnership they have been working with for the past year.

Finding the pre-existing partnerships are not difficult to find - they are already on the Positron's PR releases and I have confirmation from at least one of them that they have been working with Positron for a year - and their partnership is up on that other company's website, too. All these puzzle pieces are a little baffling.
