When you start disclosing every little thing about a company, and its plans, you begin to toe the line of "forward looking statements." Most companies are afraid to go into great detail about their plans because they are afraid of doing so.

In other cases, you don't want to reveal all of your "cards" permanently because it can hurt you in negotiations.
