I think for it to be in production, which it is, it had to first be sold to a cable station. So it has been bought most likely and we will find out who bought it when we get the offical ticker change.
I also think the show will air on TV in the fall. And yes, I hope it will be bigger than Deadliest Catch, which is the most successful reality tv show going today. In my opinion mining operations will be much more of a draw than constantly picking up and dumping crabs and trying not to get washed off the boat. This should be a lot more interesting with regard to what can be seen.
