The proposed dividend is set by Nokia's Board of Directors in January and is confirmed by shareholders at the annual general meeting held after CY/FY ending earnings are reported. It is paid paid out several weeks later. The AGM this year was May 6 and confirmed the €.40 dividend which was paid in late May. .

The Board will propose to the Annual General Meeting that a dividend of EUR 0.40 per share be paid for the fiscal year 2009. The dividend ex-date would be May 7, 2010, the record date May 11, 2010 and the payment date on or about May 25, 2010.
