Interesting link, GE announced this press release on May 28th 2010 over in Paris. I wonder if they submitted for FDA approval here in the US? It sounds like this device would be used for "some" of the same procedures the DVIS would be used for? Notice that the 3d image is posted on a website? Why aren't they concerned someone will steal their technology? And yes it does it in real time. Could this be why all the delay? Would be interested in hearing some thoughts-does this device compete with the DVIS?
