Hi vidpok, my opinion on the desirability of partnering AP534 before a registration trial has been approved hasn't changed since msg# 409 this morning.

The company is projected to have around $50 to $60 million around the time of the final rida analysis, so, I'd hardly describe the situation as "desperate."

In my mind, it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense to give up 50% of the upside on what is arguable a $600+ million drug when 1) you don't need the funding, 2) the P1 results are so strong, and 3) the path to approval is well defined. I think the smart play is to wait to partner 534 but we'll just have to agree to disagree.
