People, lets behave like adults here. Anyone who is getting emotional whether their position is short or long probably made the mistake of investing too much, and they are affraid of losing it. The truth of the matter is there is money to be made/lost if it goes up, and there is money to be made/lost if it goes down. Heck I want to be friends with the guy who sells short when its going down, loads up with shares when its cheap and sells high, and makes a killing. Its all about timing.

The point is lets share facts so those who want to make an honest dollar can whether it be short or long. In the end all the name calling is just added stress around something we ultimately have little control of. We can try and influence the price with good or bad talk, but the real gains and losses will come from how the company does business and if they can sell their products, solutions, technologies, etc... Talking the stock up or down really only influences the stock in a small way. And if someone bashes the stock and it goes down and I pick up more cheap shares before the real news then awesome.

For those that hate short sellers think of it this way, they will bash until it hits the price they want, and then they will sell and move on, or it will go up sooner than they thought and they will loose money. But regardless 0, bankrupt is as low as it can go, so every short seller has an exite price. The longs on the other hand, the stock can split, pay dividends, and rise forever. Who knows what will happen. But regardless lets all be adults and shares facts. If the facts are negative then I want to know, so I can consider cutting my losses and moving on, if the facts are positive I want to know, so I can hold out for my returns or even pick up more shares. Lets stop voicing our opinions so strongly (I said strongly not completely) and focus on facts.

BTW if anyone is wondering about my position, I am currently long, and looking to pickup more shares soon if the price stays low. However, if I think the stock is over bought or the price is inflated then I have no problems selling my shares and taking a short position. Who knows maybe I will reverse and fill-flop back and worth every time the indictactors change. And I will only be upset if I make a desicion that cost me money based on someone elses lies, because I never make desicions based on someone elses opinion.
