Thanks Art for that post, always wondered how MM actually worked. I wanted to ask you some questions that I need some help understanding or maybe ciscokid can help answer too.

1) These MM who you mentioned are "wholesellers" Do they actually buy up and hold alot of shares of these pinks/OTCBB? Or do they borrow them?

2) Also when these "wholesellers" sell to the "BIG" firms when you mentioned they would be short X number of shares and it would keep growing if people kept buying, is this all taking place on the same day? How long do they have to cover the amounts they sold?

3)So the MM try to increase spread between bid and ask price to discourage buyers, then close it to encourage sellers, and keep lowering the ask price? wouldn't that take alot of shares for these micro transactions to bring it down?
