BP oil spill is bound to spark interest in alternate fuels and electric cars. I am not conviced SLPO is the place to be but bears watching closely in the near future. Meanwhile my interest is sparked in companies like Compact Power inc, a division of LG CHEMICAL. ticker LGCLF.pk. has opened a new factory in Detroit to produce batteries for the new Chevrolet Volt hybrid car. SLPO as far as we know builds batteries for LMCO exclusively . Who knows, SLPO might secretly be making deals, this cannot be verified.
