The ADVFN DDE Product is available by itself for $19.95 per month. It can run all day long in excel as you describe from quote.com. All the available DDE fields are listed at the bottom of the following page:

However, the data is delayed by at least 15 minutes. It is most helpful to combine DDE with a real-time quote package. The way I see it, if the products help to make 1 successful trade a month, then they earn their keep.

If you are interested, you will need to contact sales (Erwin). You can try the DDE package and real time quote for free for a month.
