...but, after aviation safety reports a short coming, the whole industry gets to apply the changes. Usually when one aircraft crashes, if a problem is perceived to be due to mechanical failure (versus pilot error or weather etc) than the whole fleet gets grounded until inspection/changes are carried out.

So, if all use same faulty deep water procedure, then all should be "grounded"

Having said that. The GOG may have less regulations therefore there may be a shift of assets towards the JDZ (maybe).
