Option one, an internal transfer, can only be done from one existing account to another EXISTING account. Walking cash or a cashier's check into a Fidelity Branch is your only hope for a quick set-up with Fidelity, or anyone else for that matter. After that, wire transfer is the quickest way to transfer funds from one account to another.
