i received ,via email, the following info from the office of the missouri ag.
poc at the us attorney's office is dan nelson, telephone: 816-426-3122. no email address was given.
i was assured mr. nelson has the latest,if there is any, info reference petro america. i know not whether the info is good or bad, but the fact that the petro america "situation/issues/case/whatever" has been forwarded by the mo ag tells me the mo ag is simply kicking the case down the federal road or something substantial may be cooking.
those who know mr hawkins, might want to ask him "what's up".
in any event feel free to call mr. nelson to determine for yourself current status.
btw i have no shares in petro but close friends have substantial holdings and like some here are hopeful of a positive outcome.
unfortunately they remind me of the couple that wired their savings to an account in nigeria seeking very high returns on a "sure" high yield investment program.
they go to their mail box everyday hoping for a check -but after 5 years nothing. but they continue to make what has become a lonely,fruitless trip daily to the mailbox. sad!!!!!!!
