The Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA) is adding the Polaris Taiwan Top 50 Tracker Fund to its line-up, Asia Asset reports. The product, which is managed by Polaris International Securities Investment Trust, is the first Taiwan fund among approved MPFA products.
The ETF, which was initially launched in June 2003, tracks the TSEC Taiwan 50 index. The fund, which was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2009, has nearly $1.46 billion of assets under management.
