What a wonderful memory to have, sports were so much more innocent in those days. I always wanted my father to take me to a Yankee game, but he never did. When the Mets came into exsistance, they would let you in the grandstand with 10 milk carton side panels. Since my father worked for the railroad I had a free pass down to the city, along with a subway token I was in Flushing for weekend games. I once went to a doubleheader when the Giants were playing there, I believe 23 inning marathon match. I did not stay for the entire game, and left to get back home before my parents got to angry with me.

Sports were better back then, they just seemed more genuine, nowadays its all about big money, back then it just meant more, maybe becuase I was still an innocent child.

Some days its difficult becoming 60 years old until someone reminds me of long ago memories, I thank you for your memory, I can tell you will always cherish it as a big part of your life.
