you are only showing your lack of knowledge of how industrial plants are built.

1. why pressure vessels? that should be fairly obvious. Because this plant appears to contain more than a few pressure vessels. Are they not heating plastic.? pressure vessels. because every pressure vessel has to be registered with the government regulating body in case it blows up and somebody gets killed. that is just the way it is. you want to cut your grass with sandals or have an oven fire that is your business. just not in the public domain... ie an operating plant.
2. ontario? because i am in ontario and that is what i know. there must be a similar governing body in NY.

i don't even know what the NYDEC is.

in all my time here i have heard nothing of compliance with these issues, yet i have worked on many engineering/ construction projects... i can tell when i see a Rube Goldberg contraption that is not in conformance. say what you want about that...

it does not look sturdy enough either to be real.. IMO.
