T + 3 is trade + 3 days


now, if you have 4+ days with +50% shorting, it would be hard to cover all the open shorts

also, if you have less than 50% shorting, it does not mean any covering took place, it just was mathematically possible for some covering to occur

and, this only accounts to legal shorts, not naked
