Important New Feature: My Stocks

This is a very exciting one...and beautiful to look at, too!

There is a new tab on everybody's profile called "My Stocks." This is a very organized area to store your favorite stocks. We've taken it a bit farther than that, though. Along with listing the stock -- and it showing a quote and a news alert if any news is out in the last 24 hours -- you get to make a quick pitch! You have 300 characters to tell the world why the stock is great. You can use all the same styling elements found in writing posts (bold, italics, links, etc).

The ticker links to a quote. The company name links to the iHub board.

A pitch is not required. It'll simply list the stock in your profile in a list.

This is the start of a much larger project that we're building the groundwork for. Using the stocks stored in My Stocks, we do all kinds of clever 'what's hot', trending tickers, pitches by stock, etc....so definitely add your favorites to your My Stocks!

Also, while profiles require a login to see, you can share your My Stocks anywhere on the 'net and it can be viewed without a login/registration.

To add to your My Stocks, simply go to your own Profile and click your My Stocks tab -- and there will be an Add Stocks box. Should be self-explanatory from there.
