Alright here it is. For question two, it was a guy waiting on me and he had man hands haha. Waitresses shouldn't have a problem
1. What has the system improved on from normal paper methods of order taking and input of payments?
- Just today we were discussing the card reader that is going to be used with the system. It will sit on the side of the device[iPad] and you'll be able to swipe it right there at the table. It's an improvement for the waiters and waitresses for how we input our orders. The cooks really like how easy it is to make out the food orders, each order is definitely easier to read.
2. Any improvements you can think of to make the system better?
- For me I would like bigger buttons to press when choosing items, they're just a little too small for me, but the others don't have a problem with it. It's only when it gets really busy do I notice it. I'd like to see a pop-up for modifiers for each item when I first select an item, instead of clicking to the modifiers for that dish. But other than that, it's nice technology.
We talked for a little longer, but just banter. He said the menu items are entered in what's kind of like a spreadsheet. Pretty simple.
My main reason for going there, the receipts are processed over-the-air!! And they used it this weekend when it was busy as all hell, that's real restaurant environment experience. that's phase 3 done fellas. This is definitely exciting times.
