The shares of KATX will not be reduced in value as long as KATX owns the shares of BVIG. But if those shares in BVIG are given as a dividend to the shareholders of KATX the shares of KATX will of course be reduced by the value of the shares in BVIG that are transferred to KATX shareholders. The problem is that those shares will be restricted for KATX shareholders and may therefore only be worth 50 % of free-trading shares. As long as KATX owns those shares they are freely tradeable for KATX shareholders since the shares of KATX are freely tradeable.
