On Monday the real value of the shares of KATX will be the same as on Friday because KATX owns BVIG more or less. The reduction in value for KATX shareholders will come if KATX distributes its shares in BVIG to KATX shareholders. The real value of the KATX shares will then be reduced by the value of the BVIG shares. But the restricted shares in BVIG the shareholders of KATX receive will be worth much less than free-trading shares just because they are restricted for a long time. Therefore it is no good idea to transfer the shares in BVIG to the shareholders of KATX. Do you follow my reasoning?
