Cows and dairy cows do create alot of methane gas - Farmers with confinements capture the methane gas from the manure and use it to power the operations - the problem is that it is expensive and very dangerous but it is a viable, you could also capture methane gas from landfills as well the landfills are burning it off. If you want to produce biodiesel cheap and effective use blue algae, google it and you can see that it is a very lucrative but the problem is that with blue algae is that you need large land masses. You can create blue algae from manure very fast but the studies have not proven or anything that I have researched yet to be a viable option, my experience in the waste water industry is where this info came from. Hopefully omda is going to partner up with one of these firms that are testing it right now - it is free and the by products are Hydrogen, animal feed in higher protein, etc..... I am a long in Omda and Fat really does not know wtf he is talking about.
