cayman08: I was surprised to learn that the NY Times has an article this morning saying many top scientists are recommending an explosion to seal off the leak. I was even more surprised to learn the Soviets have done this successfully 4 or 5 times.The White House has supposedly said this option is "off the table"
I am not smart enough to know the answer but I do know that we will be living with the effects long after I am gone.
