Oh my. I think it's waayyy better. It's not complete yet and it has a LOT of cool stuff to be added to it, a few things I don't want to mention yet. We're greatly expanding the purpose of Profile and how it'll be used.

However, I think I may understand where some of the issue may be. I'd wager it's in the default page you get dropped off at.

We've always shown the "About" part, wasted a pile of white space, and then shown the messages.

The assumption is you only occassionally check out the About part (not updated too often), but are most interested in the actual Latest Messages (updated many times per day). That's the reason for it being the default.

Is that it? If so, I think I've got a solution that makes sense -- show About, first, on anybody who is not a PeopleMark; show Messages first, on anybody that is.

I must say though - the new About page is nothing short of gorgeous.
