It sounds like you're mixing up different time frames. I recall that the 5.50 to 8.00 target you mention was on the monthly chart. He also uses his trend model to give daily and weekly signals. As you know, there are different targets for stocks on different time frames.
But, anyway, he's said that he doesn't touch his own shares for fear of missing out when some big news hits.
