I believe During the Dillon years. The relationship between OSR & Exobox went by the wayside. Something like the price to code kept going up on Dillon & Dillon telling OSR to go F#!$ themselves, & yes for real using the F Bomb. I heard a story something to that affect. If you remember from a few PR's ago something about Exobox re-establishing the connection w/ OSR. Dillon caused the mess w/ OSR then Exobox started to patch it up. No coding. Now after that, what is there to do other than pursue SAAS & line your pockets while the ship sinks.

The second part to your question,

The prototype as I stated was a very crudely coded version by Reggie & I think he did it at the application level. In order to do precision coding at the kernal level & get it right & not crash everyones computer.....it needs to be done by coding masters. There are only several places in the world that can do this kind of coding, OSR being one of them.

If you think about it, if the product is not correctly coded & it starts to crash everyones computer. Noone will buy it anyway. It has to be done correct.
