FYI, Some Companies don't drill wells. They just Participate in wells. They pay a premium to get into a "Deal" because they are not set up to do the day to day operations required to get the paperwork done as well as get the oil and gas to market.
This I why I asked the question. BP would have been really dumb to have taken 100% of this project. they would have had investors.
