New SeaView CEO Issues Update
(Business Wire 02/22 12:36:19)

Business Editors/High-Tech Writers

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 22, 2001--SeaView
Video Technology Inc. (OTCBB:SEVU) (www.sevu.com) today announced the
Company's Marine Division logged "best ever" sales figures at the
Miami International Boat Show, which ended Tuesday. The estimated
gross sales exceeded $50,000.
George S. Bernardich III, who Tuesday succeeded founder Rich
McBride as CEO, issued the following statement:
"We have just completed our most successful boat show, this past
week in Miami. Even more importantly, we had several positive and
fruitful meetings with buyers and executives of key marine and
sporting-goods retailers. Having sat in the 'buyer's chair' myself, I
knew exactly what their needs and issues would be, to consummate a
business partnership with SeaView.
"It will take a little time to get (incoming COO) Mike Ambler and
(incoming CFO) Doug Bauer fully transitioned; at that time we will
develop our long-term goals for SeaView. In the interim, our direction
is simple: first, continue our full-court press on SALES; second,
finish the production and shipping of SecureView orders; and third,
finalize our short- and long-term financing.
"In addition, it is my goal to only release sales and major
contract information confirmed by letters of commitment and/or
purchase orders.
"We have the management and support team to get this job done."
The Weather Channel has utilized SeaView underwater cameras
several times in the production of their weekly primetime show,
"Atmospheres." TWC's Carolee Armstrong-Smith informed SeaView that the
most recent episode, entitled "Bar Pilots," will air on April 11.
SeaView underwater cameras will be installed by mid-April as part
of new improvements to the Florida Aquarium in Tampa, and viewable
online through the sponsoring website of the St. Petersburg Times
(www.sptimes.com), Florida's largest-circulation newspaper.

SECUREVIEW UPDATE
The Company reported that 5,000 PAR-38 Outdoor housings are now at
the finishing plant, and the production of 5,000 R-30 Indoor housings
is underway. SeaView's Taiwan vendor is ready to release 10,000 CCD
boards. Tailhousing components are in final assembly.
Texas-based SuperCircuits Inc., a catalog retailer of high-tech
video security products, issued a letter of interest following their
evaluation of SecureView. SuperCircuits mails its 80-page quarterly
catalog to over 700,000 qualified customers. SuperCircuits, organized
in 1990, quoted sales of $10M last year.
The Company is also receiving orders from smaller independent
security-systems dealers, including a $30,000 deposit-secured order
from an Arizona dealer.
Teaming Partner New Technology Management (NTMI) announced that
all Marine Division and SecureView products are listed as of Feb. 6 on
the GSA purchasing site, SmallBizMall.gov (www.8amall.com) for
agencies with government credit cards and GSA FAST purchasing
capability. The streamlined approach, says NTMI's Doug Murray, allows
purchase amounts up to $25,000. Said Murray: "NTMI is proud to bring
these products through this innovative approach to purchasing within
the federal government to GSA customers all across the federal
sector."
