PX....

In regards to QTMM's QD Nanotech.....

Just saw a DWTV (translated German news) tv show on cable....
They had an interesting piece on Nanotechnology use in autos...
It seems that the auto industry is far more involved in Nano than any of us had imagined.
Mercedes is already using a lot of it in their cars....

Uses (according to the report);

Paints: With nano-particles mixed into the paints , they are 3 X's more resistant to scratches (adds strength)...the paint still looks new after years of exposure to the elements...& all-the-while , they are able to apply these new paints to be no thicker than a human hair. They are also researching nano paints to be resistant to getting dirty (sheds dirt like wax sheds water).

Adhesives: Added to adhesive mixes , it greatly increases the strength of glues to the point of being considered as an enabler in making plastics even more prevelent in auto construction...perhaps even to the point making many metal body parts (together w/their welds, nuts & bolts) obsolete.

Tires: Added to rubber , nano-particles provide more elasticity , increase traction & last longer.

Lighting: You know the story on the advantages of Nanotech in lighting...greater luminescence...greater range of colors...lower power consumption &...less heat as a bi-product (many uses in lighting).

Lasers: They didn't mention this one but I've seen several reports lately , pointing-out the superior quality of using QD's in laser applications....in CD & DVD players for instance.

Not saying our QTMM has any foothold in these (to date) but one of our recent PR's did mention 'paints'. Whatever the case , it feels good having a product with so many potential uses. Even if our main focus (solar cells) doesn't pan-out for some reason....there's still plenty of other uses & ways of seeing QTMM pay-off handsomely....All-In-My-Opinion of course.
