There are two Dicons: 1) Dicon Technologies Pacific. This is the division located in China. They are part of Taikone. They have the same phone number and address. 2) Dicon Technologies LLC. This is the company that SPNG purchased. They are located here in the US.
When DTL was part of the H.H. Brown company, DTP was a subsidiary of the HHB company. In 2007, DTL went private, then was purchased by SPNG. Taikone/DTP manufactured the products for SPNG for a long time. From what I was told, over time, including pretty recently, SPNG fell behind in their payments to Taikone/DTP for manufacturing their products, so Taikone/DTP stopped manufacturing any of their products. For all I know, maybe SPNG/Dicon didn't need them to manufacture any of their products. But I was told that they still owed Taikone/DTP a ton of money from the past.
