For what its worth here are my thoughts on these links:
The FDA must have approved this study before it went live. If this is truly a "CT scanner that requires the pt. to lie still for 5 minutes then there must be a large amount of radiation involved. The requirements for the Davis group noted at the bottom of the second link requires the subject to be able to lie still for 5 min.
I did not find anywhere who made the 3D CT scanner. Might be interesting to know the company.
We are not going for Breast Cancer detection at this time, but this study may be helpful as a reference when/if we do.
This study was started over 2 years ago. The concept of 3D imaging is not foreign to the FDA.
When were we given our patent on the 3D image construction and does the software used in this study infringe on our patent?
Wild A** thought.. are these the scanners that were sent out by Imaging3 that were referred to in previous press releases or am I remembering wrong. Granted we are not applying for breast imaging now but will we when this study is complete? Probably not but just a passing possibility WAG.
Waiting on pins and needles until approval....hopefully next week.....early!
