But they granted the two most promising expanses identified in the previous license. If they really had that much reservation about EEGC, they wouldn't risk those two gems on a company that has no chance to drill.
Quite simple. The shorter license may have been just a way to "force" things along faster, but if they really believe this is a waste of time, they wouldn't have granted the license. Two years is still a long time to wait for something you know isn't going to happen, if they thought it wasn't going to happen.
The license is a clear signal that the MRT thinks EEGC will drill. No doubt about it.
