Go to the following page http://www.hoovers.com/global/msn/index.xhtml?pageid=10021 and click through all the recent IPOs for this month. Compare the day the stock went public to the filing date. You will find that most of the listings have taken about 5-6 month to start trading some even longer. Wonder, for example, filed their S1 in Dec 09 so about three months sound about right
