I remember most of us questioned AMD's move to outsource to UMC. Most often was stated that foundries manufacture to the "lowest common denominator", and I believe this is the problem today (and will continue to be a problem).
AMD's decision to outsource one of the flagship products is a huge error, IMO. And where is their "plan B", if this totally fails?
