NEP - good luck to all who are in it right now. I want everyone to make as much money as possible.
However, I don't think there is any way to see today's halt and the behaviour of the company in the past five months as positive. The best outcome will still have destroyed a lot of investor confidence. I for one will not touch this stock again as long as not each and every open question has not been resolved in a transparent and fair way, and I have a very long list of such questions.
There is a lot of talk recently about China Small Caps being involved in irregularities, even downright fraud. I have no reason to believe that NEP is fraudulent or anything else than apparent amateurs who apparently just don't get their act together. But this kind of action today, along with all the recent restatements or pending restatements from big board names like FUQI or CSKI, not to mention OTCBB traded stocks or pinks, all of this doesn't help us here getting undervalued growth stocks with a good IR, good manners, responsibility and care for their shareholders, get the attention they deserve. It is a shame really. If a company like NEP, with a relatively simple business structure, can't get their act together with financials, after several extensions, press releases and preliminary statements, then it leaves a stain on the group and I am quite angry about that.
