I think the statement from Hayden is correct. The directors and officers are working for equity/options.
If I had to "guess", the one employee not shown getting options is getting some cash salary and they are using pay-as-needed cash and equity for other out-sourced services, like development of the new products announced including at least one in the pipeline. They also installed "something" in Q1, given final billing on that odd contract.
