"Don't they have to know that the keyword they pay for actually contacts their business and not a competitor, seems simple to control to me."

Seems to be some confusion between trademarked brands that are the property of the branded company and key words which can be 'locked up' by a business through area code purchases.

'Sprint' owns the brand name 'Sprint'. They don't own 'wireless' or 'cellphone' or '4Gstore'. I'm pretty sure that Ambassadors undertand the distinctions.

Voice Keywords™ are categorized into 2 groups:

1. Brand and Trademark


Brand and Trademark keywords can only be leased by the brand and trademark owner. Documents certifying ownership will need to be supplied upon request. Brand and Trademark keywords will be leased at a monthly rate of $500 for USA nationwide coverage.



2. Generic


Generic keywords are all other words found in the dictionary. Area Code pricing applies. | Area Code-based price lookup is available here.

Voice Keyword™ Leasing Terms & Service Fees
Voice Keywords™ are leased for a minimum period of 1 month up to two years, all charges are paid in advance. Monthly recurring billing can be set up by credit card or by bank direct pay. Accepted Formats
Voice Keywords™ can be letters (A-Z), case insensitive, numbers (0-9), and can include periods or hyphens. Voice Keywords™ must be a minimum of 3 characters and a maximum of 30 characters - no spaces allowed.
