What I like about the service is that my non computer literate 84 year old Dad can niw send and receive emails and most importantly, his digital pictures and short digital movies.

Dad is no slouch, he embraces new technology and has thought of getting a computer for many years. The only thing that has held him back is that he leads a very active life in that he runs a large farm(9 sections) and the learning curve involved in using a computer would take him away from other more important farm, woodshop and church related functions. He is not one to sit still for very long.

With the GoTVco keyboard and service, all he has to do is click the channels like everybody does on TV but now he has more channels which now include an email account, photo bucket account and you tube video capabilities.

The idea is still new to him so progress is made as time permits and at his own rate but the fact is that he can now instantly see the you tube and photo bucket pics and vids that family and grand children post up.

Before this he had little contact with the family and grandkids given that the farm is 200 miles from the closest sons/daughters and he is not a fan of paying for long distance (like many grand parents)

Now, a computer illiterate 84 year old can enjoy the same internet access that all of us have and/or take for granted.

I think that Many moms, pops and grand parents could be brought into the 21st century without having to learn the ins and out of computers, viruses and navigating the complexities involved in just turning on and getting the computer ready to surf the net.

No expensive computer, no anti virius, no firewall issues, no crashes (blue screen of death) and no computer learning curve required.
