Perfect example of RS killing a stock would be GETA. It used to be GLTA (I think). Penny stock and it did a R/S - 1:1000 (100). It went up to $1 (For like 2 days) then now it's $0.05. Before R/S, I think it was $0.05 or so.
C - O/S is over 29B - Hottest stock around w/ profit Q1
HLNT - O/S is 1.4B
CTIC - O/S is 0.35B
HGSI - O/S is 0.2B - It was at $0.45 a year ago and now it's at $20. All b/c it prove it had real result.
If HLNT could prove it really has serious buyer, then HLNT pps will go up without R/S.
If you are spending $50K on HLNT and want R/S, then you obviously invested in the wrong company. You might as well wait for HLNT to do R/S before you start buying HLNT again. R/S will bring up PPS but you are still holding the same amount of $$$ or lower. So, you really won't lose out at all if you just wait until that R/S moment.
Josey comes back to us when R/S happen. :)
